Before you stuff your face with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy tomorrow morning, why not work off some calories first at the 12th Annual Drumstick Dash!
Plus, it’s for a good cause- the Drumstick Dash raises funds and awareness for the services and support that Wheeler Mission provides to the homeless. They receive no government support- 100% of their funding is from community support, grants, gifts, and fundraising events like the Drumstick Dash.
The race has grown like crazy, going from 1,300 participants in it’s first year to 18,000 runners and walkers last year.
The race begins at Broad Ripple high school, where you can choose one of three courses to run or walk: 4.5 mile course, 2.7 mile course, or the Lil’ Gobbler’s Run that is free for kids. Click HERE for the course map.
Visit their website for more info: DrumstickDash.org. Christie of the Indy Scene Team will be there for her first ever Drumstick Dash- it’s not too late to sign up!
